Ask Questions! 12/31/2009

Hey there! This is the Blog where you ask Questions! Anything, as long as it has at least some relation to this website, and is in good taste, will do. Just Post the question, and see what answers come up. You can post answers to other people's questions, as long as they are correct!

Tell me the story of midias flufidias! (and is that how you spell it?)

Mettius Fufetius (That is the way to spell it) was the Alban Commander during the battle of the Horiatii and the Curiatii.Since the Romans won, he promised allegiance to King Tullus Hostilius. But then he urged other cities to make war on Rome. When the Cities declared War, Tullus Hostilius ordered Mettius to help him fight. But Mettius deserted and hid behind a hill to see who won. The Romans won, and Tullus Hostilius halved Mettius

Hey Carolyn!
The website is great and has tons of potential! I love the idea! I love the Latin expression, "eheu" which means "alas." I really like the idea of questions to help those practice certamen since the VJCL website no longer offers questions for kids to practice with. Let me know if I can help in any way!
